An overview and some of the teams favourites.
At the time of writing, we have exclusively hosted or have been heavily involved in over 20 events since our inception way back 2015. These events have ranged from Retail Experiences and Exhibitions to Public and Private Social Events, encompassing Live Music, Networking events and Private Games nights to name a few. We have also been commissioned on several occasions by outside institutions to organise, curate and host events for their social calendar. Over the years these opportunities, paired with our own events have given us a wealth of experience in what makes an event achieve a lasting and personal connection for every guest attending.
Our early events were a combination of enthusiastic ambition and the reality of operating on a shoestring budget, in hindsight this clash of the possible and impossible resulted in events that communicated passion and attention to detail with just the right amount of chaos and disorganisation you would come to expect with a young team working together. Developing a unique theme and promotion campaign was paramount for each event. Building on our experience with videography, photography and graphic design we would create a series of content for each event including short films, photo editorials and graphic posters.
Below are a collection of highlights from over the years. The events listed are all very different with regards to theme, Interior decor, and Audio. Not to mention completely contrasting venues. There are too many to write about to date but these have been some of the most notable experiences selected by the team.
This special occasion was an Exhibition themed red carpet event at The Exhibitionist Hotel in Kensington. We booked out the ground floor of the venue to host the private social occasion for around 160 guests. There was plenty to catch the eye! Display and interactive art from local and international artists were exhibited, supported by live performances and DJ’s. We paired this with an array of bespoke interior decor put together by our production team.
TIP-NYE was a night to remember for all those who attended.
The event was spread across three floors for around 250 guests, just a stone's throw away from the celebratory fireworks along the River Thames. There were three bars serving a bespoke menu across the balcony, ground floor and basement; enabling easy access to the next glass of champagne. Supporting the occasion were five DJ’s, three live performers, and seven MC’s across the ground floor and basement.
The balcony which was the third and highest floor within the venue overlooked the ground floor and was reserved for sitting, relaxing and socialising in a more refined manor. One of our most notable interior contributions to this event was replacing every single light bulb in the venue, going from white to red, bringing the tone of the event in line with brand colours.
We took over one of London's most advanced industrial warehouse spaces. The TIP Warehouse party is our largest event to date catering for 450 guests across three rooms.
This event consisted of two contemporary warehouse studios, with Function-One speaker systems and professional lighting rigs. We created a hanging garment installation of sample cut & sew pieces in the white studio which displayed some of our latest work at the time. In the black studio we hosted a rave with branded neon lighting and a professional lighting display configured to our brand colours. Sonically, the event was supported by our resident DJ’s playing back to back sets for the duration of the event.
For the events exclusively hosted by the brand the focus has always been on creating a multi-sensory experience. This is achieved by curating each event to focus on immersing the guest in carefully thought out displays of theme, installation, sounds, and scent when attending. We have also begun to explore taste with custom cocktail menus for some of our larger events.
The defining factor for producing a TIP event is always regarding the level of interior curation and personalisation that we are able to implement within a space. We have a tight knit team who have been involved in all aspects of our events to date. The preparation and set up for the events has become progressively complex in line with the scale of the event production, providing increasing challenges that are always an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
We will continue to take this approach with our events over the coming years and we look forward to seeing you at one of our events in the future.
